I felt the presence of the natural trees and the quiet, mature atmosphere of Europe. I captured that moment in this piece. It is believed that the area inside is thus peaceful. I rendered the “gate” to evoke the atmosphere of the distant mountain range, and wrote the character for “tree” to convey tranquility.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003cbr\u003e\u003cspan\u003eI used a light wash of vintage Chinese ink.
