CoCollaborations is committed to making our website accessible to people with disabilities, in alignment with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) Title III. We are working toward conformance with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, the current de facto standard for accessible web content.

Conformance Status

This website partially conforms to WCAG 2.1 Level AA. "Partially conforms" means that some parts of the content do not yet fully meet the standard. We are actively identifying and remediating issues to move toward full conformance.

Measures to Support Accessibility

CoCollaborations has taken, and continues to take, the following measures:

  • Regular accessibility reviews of the storefront using automated tools (axe-core, Lighthouse) and manual checks
  • Remediation of identified barriers as part of ongoing site maintenance
  • Accessibility considerations included when evaluating new themes, apps, and third-party widgets
  • Staff awareness of accessibility responsibilities for content authoring (images, link text, headings)

Assessment Approach

This statement is based on self-assessment using automated scanning tools and manual review of key user journeys (home, product, cart, checkout, contact). We plan to commission a third-party audit and will update this statement when results are available.

Known Limitations

Despite our efforts, the following accessibility issues may currently exist on the site. We are working to resolve each one.

  • Images: Some product and editorial images may be missing descriptive alternative text. Workaround: contact us for a description of any image.
  • Embedded third-party content: Components provided by third-party apps (e.g., shopping widgets, social embeds) may not fully conform to WCAG 2.1 AA. We work with vendors to improve their accessibility, but we do not always control the underlying code.
  • Color contrast: Some decorative or branded text may fall below the 4.5:1 contrast ratio required by WCAG 2.1 AA.
  • PDF documents: Older PDF documents linked from the site may not be fully tagged or screen-reader friendly. Accessible alternatives are available on request.

We aim to address documented limitations on a rolling basis as part of ongoing development.
